Material description
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene or ABS, is a hygroscopic, opaque, amorphous thermoplastic resin that can be processed through injection molding, blow molding and extrusion (for sheet/thermoforming), making its low melting temperature and low production cost ideal for many machining processes. ABS formulas can be modified for unique results, with acrylonitrile providing chemical resistance, butadiene bringing toughness and impact resistance, and styrene giving the plastic its rigidity and processability features.
