Polyethylene (PE) Wax is manufactured as first intention product or as by-product from polyethylene synthesis using catalytic polymerisation, most commonly utilising the Ziegler-Natta catalyst. PE wax can also be produced as a result of controlled thermal degradation of polyethylene.
